POC’s low-profile Spine VPD 2.0 Jacket provides moto-rated protection (Certified EN 1621-2 Level 2), yet fits nicely under a long sleeve jersey. To accomplish this, POC uses high-tech VPD (Visco-Elastic Polymer Dough) foam that’s flexible enough to conform for a comfortable fit, but stiffens upon impact.The result is some of the most effective protection on the market for the spine, chest, shoulders, and elbows. The shoulder panels are 3D-molded and deliver wraparound protection without compromising freedom of movement ? and, Kevlar reinforcements are added throughout so the Spine VPD 2.0 will stand up to abuse. Additionally, the 3D-molded back protector offers crucial spinal protection with an additional anti-penetration barrier.At the front of the Spine VPD 2.0, an asymmetric zipper keeps structural integrity while ensuring easy donning. The wide, stretchy waist band that protects the jelly roll is adjustable via a hook-and-loop fastener, and it’s removable for a custom fit.
